Adriano reviews

Adriano campsite, Italian Adriatic, Italy

The Fairclough Family | June 2025

We recently spent a week at Adriano Family Camping Village in Emilia-Romagna, and if you're traveling with little ones, this place hits the sweet spot between "authentic Italian camping" and "stress-free family resort."

The Waterpark: A Toddler's Dream The pool complex was the absolute highlight for our 3 and 4-year-olds. It's not just a standard pool; it's a massive "bat-shaped" lagoon with a dedicated area for the tiniest swimmers.

What we loved: The hippo slide, the dolphin fountains, and the mini rainforest kept them entertained for hours. The water is shallow in the kids' section, and there are bubble jets and hydromassage beds nearby, so we could actually keep an eye on them while getting a bit of a "spa" feel ourselves. Note: Sunbeds at the pool do come with an extra charge, so factor that into your budget!

The park is about a 250-400m stroll through a lovely pine forest to the private sandy beach. The Adriatic here is very shallow and calm, which was perfect for our 3-year-old who is still finding his sea legs.

Facilities: The Dolcevita Beach Club (linked to the park) is great for a quick pasta lunch or a gelato without having to trek back to the cabin.

Accommodation & Food: We stayed in a three-bedroom mobile home, which gave us just enough space to breathe.
Living: The wooden decking was gated, which was a lifesaver for keeping the toddlers from wandering off while we were making coffee.
Dining: The pizza at the on-site restaurant is genuinely good (not just "campsite good"). We also used the Despar supermarket on-site for breakfast supplies; it's well-stocked, though slightly pricier than the bigger supermarkets in nearby Ravenna.
Entertainment & Atmosphere The Mini Club officially starts at age 4, but the staff were very welcoming. Even if yours are too young for the drop-off clubs, the baby dance in the evening is a rite of passage—our kids loved the music and the energy.

The "Noise" Factor: Just a heads up—this is a lively park. The evening shows and music can be quite loud and often run until 11:00 PM or midnight. If your kids are light sleepers, try to request a cabin further away from the central animation area.

Nearby places to visit
Rent Bikes: The park is flat and shaded by pine trees. We rented bikes with child seats and cycled the trails into Punta Marina—it's a great way to see the area without the toddler "I'm tired" meltdown.

Mirabilandia: This massive theme park is only about 20 minutes away. It has a great "Bimbopoli" section for children under 100cm.

Mosquitoes: Being near the pine forest and water, they can be a bit pesky in the evenings. Pack some heavy-duty repellent!

Overall we loved Adriano holiday park and would definitely come back. It's safe, friendly, and the pool setup for toddlers is one of the best weve seen in Italy.
