Cisano reviews
Camping Cisano holiday park, Bardolino, Lake Garda, Italy
We stayed as a family and have three children aged 4, 7, and 9. This is a unique "two-in-one" site connected by a safe tunnel underpass. It's perfect for families who want a mix of lakeside relaxation and active pool days.
Between the two sites, there are multiple pools. Our 4-year-old loved the shallow lagoon and the animal-themed spray park, while the 7 and 9-year-olds spent all their time on the eight different waterslides.
The site has its own private, man-made sandy beach on Lake Garda. This is a rare find in the area and was great for the kids to build sandcastles while we enjoyed the view.
The "Mini Club" kept the 7 and 9-year-olds busy with crafts and sports, and the nightly "Baby Dance" (Mini Disco) was the absolute highlight for our 4-year-old.
Being right on the lakeside promenade is a game-changer. You can walk or cycle safely for miles in either direction.
:Be aware that the San Vito side is quite hilly. If you have a stroller for a 4-year-old, be prepared for a bit of a workout!
Walking between the two sites can take 5-10 minutes depending on where your mobile home is located. Check the map before booking if you want to be closer to the "lively" Cisano side or the "quieter" San Vito side.
I would recommend visiting Bardolino & Lazise. These are two of the prettiest towns on the lake. We walked to Bardolino (2km) along the flat promenade for gelato. Lazise (3km) has a stunning medieval wall and a great weekly market.
Gardaland is also fun and only about a 15 minte drive. The "Peppa Pig Land" area was perfect for our 4-year-old, while the older two loved the rollercoasters. CanevaWorld & Movieland was also close by and the kids loved them.
Overall we loved this location and holiday park, it was an ideal base for exploring Lake Garda. It's busy and lively, but the direct lake access and proximity to the theme parks make it a winner for kids under 12.
