El Delfin Verde reviews

We just got back from our second trip to El Delfin Verde, and if you’re looking for a place where the kids won't say "I'm bored" for even a single second, this is it. It’s huge, loud, and incredibly fun, but there are a few things we wish we’d known before we arrived.

What the Kids Loved
The "Dolphin" Pool & Slides: We spent about 80% of our holiday here. The water park area they expanded for the 2024/25 seasons is brilliant. Our 7-year-old lived on the pirate ship, and the older one finally braved the big slides. It feels safe, though you do have to keep your wits about you because it gets packed! The Beach on our Doorstep: On the days the pool felt too "busy," we just walked a few minutes to the beach. It’s a lovely sandy stretch with views of the Medes Islands. Great for sandcastles, and the sea was surprisingly calm for the kids to paddle in. Evening Vibes: The entertainment team is tireless. Our kids were obsessed with the mini-disco, and the evening shows (especially the Lion King tribute) were actually really high quality. It’s the kind of place where kids make friends at the park and then meet up every night to watch the show together.

What we struggled with
The Size of the place, honestly, bring your scooters! We were located fairly central in the park and close to the main facilities, but a play area my kids fell in love with was on the outskirts and walking so far felt ended up in tierd feet and my youngest (5) constantly wanting piggybacks. By day three, we ended up renting bikes just to get around. Even in 2025, the "towel on the sunbed" game is strong here. If you aren't at the pool gates by opening time, you’ll be sitting on your towel on the grass. While the supermarket is great, eating out at the themed restaurants every night adds up fast. We ended up BBQing at our deck most nights to save some Euros for the arcade.

The accommodation
We booked a Suncamp SunLodge, and honestly, it was the best decision we made for the trip. A big win for us was booking a modern lodge. It offered the space and the "home comforts" that you don't always get with standard campsite caravans. Having a proper, large wooden decking meant we could actually escape the midday sun while the kids played cards, and the air conditioning was a total game-changer during the July heatwave. What we really appreciated about the Suncamp setup was the location. Our lodge felt tucked away in a slightly quieter, leafier part of the park. It meant that while we were only a short walk from the noise of the main stage, we could actually get the kids to sleep at 10:00 PM without feeling like the disco was inside our living room. Plus, having a dishwasher meant more time at the pool and less time arguing over the washing up!

Overall a holiday that didn't disapoint on our return visit.

Myself and my family have just returned from El Delfin Verde after a delightful 10 day holiday. There was plenty to do on site for my youngster and my two teenagers from swimming in the large outdoor pool and toddler splash pool to lots of organised sports events on the park. The children's clubs on El Delfin Verde was especially good as varied clubs catered for all ages and it allowed the kids to make new friends from the very start of the holiday. My older two enjoyed the organised football matches and windsurfing on the beach. My Wife and I enjoy playing tennis but felt it was a bit pricey at 18 euro per hour. We found courts close by though that was much cheaper.

El Delfin Verde has many on park take-out options and plenty in the near vicinity. The sit in restaurant called Nautilus had decent food and good sized portions. L Estartit beach is walking distance from the park and the only other time we explored the area was to a old city called Pals, very impressive and traditional.

Overall El Delfin Verde was a fantastic holiday and we would definitely return in the future. Plenty to do and especially cheap for the larger sized families. Only negatives would be that their wasn’t much grass and so the caravan got a little dirty from the kids running in and out at times. Next visit I would definitely take the decking option when booking the holiday home.

Had a pleasant holiday at El Delfin Verde but probably wouldn't return again in high season. Very family orientated with lots of kids let run riot. It was too hot to see the sights and the sand on the beach got super hot mid-day! Pool was huge but too much splashing from kids often put me off. Would probably look for a more quieter location next time or go out of season as the park was very nice with lots to do, just too many kids.

We have been visiting the Montgri area of Costa Brava for 4 years now. We tend to travel a lot and fell in love with this area due to it being so great for the whole family. We discovered the El Delfin Verde park after our second visit. The Holiday park is really well looked after and there are plenty of activities to entertain the kids day and night. Our most recent visit we stayed with Siblu. Their staff are as friendly as Eurocamp who we went with on previous holidays but the static caravan home was much more modern and in a better location on park. Most of the top holiday makers that are based on the park are much of the same. The restaurant and take out food on park is average, however we often eat in and buy produce from the local shops in Torroella de Montgri. That said, essentials like fresh bread and milk is available from the local park shop at a surprisingly fair price. Our favourite restaurant is El Volanti next to the marina in L'Estartit which has a wide menu selection at an affordable price.
I would recommend this area and holiday park to all sun seeking, activity loving fans alike!

Visited this park twice now and would strongly advise getting a air conditioned mobile home as the park is a heat spot. It doesn’t get that much breeze from the nearby coastline due to the surrounding trees. Fabulous location, and great entertainment park but just don’t make our mistake and try and save a few pounds on cheaper accommodation.

A great park with its own beach and a very high level of cleanliness and quality. Service from the holiday reps was fantastic and there advise on the areas to visit was top dollar! Peretellada is a gem of a place with a fantastic Spanish tapas bar, and Pals Mediaeval Town was also a must see. The Siblu mobile home was very spacious and in a great location for access to the beach. The pool is huge and there is plenty to do on park and off to make it a great holiday. Recommend this for all family ages! Booked for next year as soon as we returned!
